The quiet buildup

It can start before the breath, the vet, or the warning.

Visible buildup was already present for 82% of quiz completers, and most of those owners had never heard a vet flag it.

It starts where you missThe back molars and gumline are where buildup is easiest to overlook, even when breath still seems fine.
Chews leave a contact gapA chew works where tooth meets chew. Daily oral-health support delivered through saliva can reach surfaces that contact never does.
Daily closes the gapBuildup rebuilds every day, so prevention has to fit the one routine that already happens every day: dinner.

If you want one daily routine, choose Kinwell: broader coverage than chewing, without the brushing battle or added treat calories.

The formula

Six science-backed ingredients. Nothing your dog doesn't need.

Six ingredients, and you can read every one of them. No proprietary blend hiding the doses, no chicken, nothing you need to look up. Each one is human-grade, each dose is printed on the jar, and each batch is third-party screened before it ships. Here's what's inside, and the job each one earned its place doing.

Vet-recommended ingredients

Macro of glistening dark kelp fronds on honed black stone, mint rim lightClinically proven

The workhorse · 500 mg

North Atlantic Kelp

Ascophyllum nodosum

Harvested human-grade off the North Atlantic coast, and the most-studied ingredient in dog dental care. Working through saliva, it reduces plaque, tartar, and bad breath.

Halved pomegranate with scattered arils and a small heap of deep red peel powder on dark stone, macroClinically proven

The tartar blocker · 50 mg

Pomegranate peel extract

Pomegranate peel is where the antioxidants concentrate, and it is clinically proven to fight plaque and tartar buildup in dogs. Most jars do this job with a synthetic chemical. We would rather keep it natural with a fruit.

Fresh parsley sprigs with scattered dried flakes on dark slate, mint accent light

The breath herb · 50 mg

Parsley leaf

The classic beneficial herb, in the jar for the reason you think: it naturally freshens breath from the inside.

Rosemary sprig with a single drop of amber extract on dark stone, macro

The antioxidant, naturally · 20 mg

Rosemary extract

A natural antioxidant that keeps every scoop as fresh as the first, with nothing artificial needed to do it.

Halved sugar pumpkin with a pile of warm orange powder, dark backdrop

The gut-friendly base · 800 mg

Pumpkin powder

Real pumpkin, in for its fiber: it supports healthy, regular digestion, which is why owners already reach for it. It also distributes the oral-health ingredients evenly through a meal, so every scoop lands the same.

A soft heap of fine warm-tan savory yeast extract powder on honed black stone, warm light

The reason they eat it · 250 mg

Savory yeast extract

A rich, savory taste dogs go for, and it is plant-based: no chicken, no meat, no animal by-products, and no peanut. Nearly every dental chew and most powders are chicken-flavored, which rules them out for a dog who reacts to it. This one is in. It is also the reason dogs lick the bowl clean, and the reason the ritual sticks.

The ritual

A daily routine you will still be doing a year from now.

01

Scoop

One level scoop a day for dogs up to 25 lbs, two for bigger dogs, half for the very smallest. 1.67 g each, pre-measured.

02

Sprinkle

Stir it into dinner. Dogs lick the bowl clean, and there is nothing to negotiate.

03

Stay with it

Each jar holds 60 scoops: two months for small dogs, one for large. Consistency is where oral care actually happens.

"Dogs enjoy it, so owners can actually stick with it."

What to expect

The first 90 days, and every one after.

Every dog is different. This is the timeline daily use is built around, and consistency is the only variable you control.

Weeks 1–2

Fresher breath

Usually the first thing to improve, and it is the close-up kind you notice. The habit has already stuck by now, because it is just dinner.

Month 2

Healthier gums

The formula keeps working at the gumline with every dinner. Healthy gums look pale, naturally pink and firm where they meet the tooth, rather than red or puffy at the edge, and a comfortable mouth is a dog who chews on both sides again.

Month 3

Whiter teeth, visibly less buildup

The change you can see: whiter-looking teeth with visibly less buildup along the gumline, and the results compound from here.

Year one and on

Healthier, happier dog

The bacteria behind plaque don't stay in the mouth. Keeping it in check at every dinner is one of the best things you can do for your dog's whole health, year after year.

The daily coverage their routine is missing

Daily dental support for the teeth chews and brushing miss.

Will my dog actually eat it?
Kinwell was designed to be genuinely palatable: human-grade seaweed, real pumpkin, and a rich savory flavor dogs go for. The flavor is plant-based, with no chicken, meat, or animal by-products, so dogs who react to the rest of the category can have it too. Dogs treat a Kinwell-topped dinner exactly like dinner and lick the bowl clean. That matters, because a routine only works if your dog is on board. And if yours turns their nose up, the 60-day happiness guarantee means we refund it.
Why Kinwell?
We made it because we read the back of every other jar and couldn't find one we'd serve at every dinner. Half the category hides its doses behind a proprietary blend, plenty list ingredients with no dose at all, and nearly all of it is chicken-flavored. Kinwell is six human-grade ingredients, every milligram printed on the label, at the doses the research actually used and scaled to your dog's size. Plant-based flavor, no chicken. Every batch third-party screened for heavy metals before it ships. Nothing in it you'd need to look up.

What daily coverage is for

Keep the routine. Cover what it misses.

Kinwell is not asking you to abandon the chew or the nights brushing works. It gives the rest of the mouth a daily routine too.

Overhead of a mint-lined dinner bowl of kibble dusted with Kinwell powder, the dosing scoop beside it and a paw stepping into frame

One scoop at dinner does all four

01

Fight daily buildup

Researched oral-health ingredients help reduce plaque and tartar buildup and help prevent new tartar from forming.

02

Cover the missed surfaces

Delivered through saliva, the formula supports the back molars and gumline without needing a chew or brush to touch them.

03

Support healthy gums

Daily care helps support the gumline where plaque first turns into a bigger oral-health problem.

04

Make the habit stick

Savory, plant-based flavor turns oral care into ten seconds at a meal your dog already expects.

Why smaller dogs need more attention

Same 42 teeth. More places for buildup to hide.

Smaller jaws crowd the same number of teeth into less space. That creates more tight, hard-to-reach surfaces where plaque and tartar can collect, which is why small and toy breeds face more dental buildup and dental-health problems. Kinwell scales the daily dose with one simple scoop.

  • From half a scoop to two scoops daily, dosed by your dog's weight
  • Small and toy breeds are especially prone to dental buildup
  • Gentle enough for every dinner, at every size

Where Kinwell started, with Bear, the founding taste-tester

Why we made Kinwell

We read the back of every jar. Then we made our own.

I couldn't brush my dog's teeth. Bear is seven. I can trim his nails and clean his ears. This was the one thing. The toothbrush came out, his mouth clamped shut, his head turned away. Eventually we gave up, and then felt bad about giving up.

Chews didn't change his teeth. A water additive kept him away from his bowl for two days. Then in June he had to go under for a cleaning, and I sat at home the whole time waiting for the phone to ring.

So I read the back of every dental powder I could find. Half hid behind a proprietary blend. Others listed ingredients with no dose at all. Several had things I didn't want to give him daily, like sodium hexametaphosphate. And nearly all were chicken-flavored, which ended it for us, because Bear is allergic to chicken. He deserved better than anything we could find, so we made our own.

A "proprietary blend" that hides how much of anything you are getting

Every ingredient and every milligram printed on the label

Premium ingredients listed with no amount, or at amounts too small to matter

Clinically proven ingredients at their full researched amounts, scaled to your dog's size

Chicken flavoring, animal by-products, and chemicals you have to look up

Six human-grade ingredients, plant-based flavor, no chicken

Kelp sourced wherever it is cheapest, with nothing published on purity

Every batch third-party screened for heavy metals before it ships

Bear is the lead taste-tester. He'll eat anything, so that was never the bar. The bar was whether he'd pick the bowl with the powder over the one without.

Why powder wins

Better coverage than a chew. Easier to keep than brushing.

Chews clean only where they touch. Brushing works only when it happens. Kinwell carries clinically proven ingredients through saliva to the back molars and gumline, without added treat calories or a second daily product.

Questions

Everything owners ask us.

Still curious? [email protected]

What is a dental powder for dogs, and how does Kinwell work?

A dental powder for dogs is a daily supplement you sprinkle over food instead of brushing. Kinwell is a dog dental powder made from clinically proven, science-backed ingredients you stir into your dog's dinner. Used consistently as a daily ritual, it supports fresher breath, cleaner teeth, and healthy gums, with no brushing battle required.

Can it help with gingivitis or periodontal disease?

Periodontal disease is the most common health problem in adult dogs, and gingivitis, inflammation at the gumline, is its earliest stage. Kinwell is a preventive daily supplement, not a treatment: it works on soft plaque before it mineralizes, which is what limits new tartar and supports healthy gums over time. It does not diagnose or treat existing disease. If your dog already has red, swollen, or bleeding gums, see your vet, and use Kinwell alongside whatever they recommend.

Will my dog actually eat it?

Kinwell was designed to be genuinely palatable: human-grade seaweed, real pumpkin, beneficial herbs, and a rich savory flavor dogs go for. Dogs treat a Kinwell-topped dinner exactly like dinner and lick the bowl clean. That matters, because a routine only works if your dog is on board.

My dog is allergic to chicken. Can they still take Kinwell?

Kinwell contains no chicken, no meat, and no animal by-products. The savory flavor is plant-based, which is unusual in this category: nearly every dental chew and most competing powders are flavored with chicken or another animal protein, and that rules the whole category out for a lot of dogs. It is the reason we built ours the way we did. The complete formula is six ingredients, all of them printed with their doses on the jar and on this page, so you can check it against your own dog's sensitivities before you order. If your dog has diagnosed allergies, show the panel to your vet first.

Does it replace brushing or vet cleanings?

No, but it can help them go further. By reducing plaque and tartar buildup, consistent daily use can extend the time between professional cleanings. The goal isn't to replace your vet. It's to give them less to find. If your vet recommends brushing or a cleaning, keep following their guidance. Kinwell works alongside it.

How is Kinwell different from other dental powders?

Read the back of the jars side by side and the difference is the point. Much of this category hides its formula inside a proprietary blend, where ingredients are grouped under a single total weight and there is no way to tell how much of any one of them you are getting. Others print ingredient names with no dose beside them at all, or add a premium ingredient at a label-dressing amount too small to matter. Kinwell is six ingredients, every one human-grade, every milligram printed on the label, at the doses the research actually used and scaled to your dog's size. The flavor is plant-based rather than chicken. Every batch is third-party screened for heavy metals and purity before it ships. Nothing in it needs looking up.

What size dogs is it for?

All of them. Kinwell is specifically formulated by dog size, so at the right dose every dog gets everything their oral health needs, and nothing more. Dogs up to 25 lbs take one level scoop daily, dogs over 25 lbs take two. For very small dogs under 6 lbs, half a scoop is plenty. The pre-measured scoop keeps the ritual effortless at every size, and a single jar lasts the tiniest dogs four months.

How does the subscription work?

Pick a supply of one, two, or three jars (bigger supplies unlock bigger volume discounts), and it ships and renews free on your dog's actual pace: every 4, 8, or 12 weeks for larger dogs, twice that for small ones. Your first order is 44%+ off, and every delivery ships free. Pause or cancel anytime.

When will I notice a difference?

Every dog is different. This is the timeline daily use is built around: fresher breath within the first weeks, healthier gums by month two, and whiter teeth with visibly less buildup by month three, with the formula fighting new buildup the whole way. Consistency is what earns the results, and the ritual is built to be easy to keep.
